    The Master of Accountancy (MAcc) programme aims to equip bachelor’s degree graduates with the necessary accounting knowledge and skills to pursue a career in professional accounting and to provide a learning environment to develop students for executive positions in the accounting area in Hong Kong and the Greater China region. Through a connected sequence of research-teaching learning activities, the MAcc programme empowers students to apply the skills and dispositions needed to develop business insights and enables them to make a significant contribution to their employing organisations. It also nurtures student’s ethical decision making and corporate social responsibility for being professional accountants.

  • Master of Human Resources Management (MHRM)
    The Master of Human Resources Management (MHRM) programme empowers graduates with essential HR knowledge, skills, and competencies to facilitate excellence in managing and developing talent in the Asia and global context. With a dual emphasis on theory and practice, the MHRM programme is designed for aspiring young graduates, practicing HR professionals, and line managers who seek an advanced education in HRM. Other than formal classes, workshops and professional development seminars are organised to enhance our students’ and alumni’s HR knowledge and skills.

    In addition, the MHRM programme is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), Europe's largest professional institute for HRM and HR development. MHRM students who register as CIPD student members will have their degree recognised as CIPD Advanced Level 7 Certificate in Human Resources qualification and that automatically leads to the CIPD Associate membership after graduation.

    The mission of the Master of Science in Corporate Governance and Compliance (MScCGC) programme is to provide specialised training and practical knowledge to prepare directors, company secretaries and compliance professionals for strengthening the sustainability and accountability of their organisations.     The Master of Science in Finance (FinTech and Financial Analytics) (MScFTFA) programme provides flexibility with the options of completing the programme in one-year full-time mode or two-year part-time mode.   • MSc in Marketing for the Creative Economy (MScMCE)
    The Master of Science in Marketing for the Creative Economy (MScMCE) programme is a one-year full-time programme offered by the School of Business in collaboration with the Academy of Visual Arts (AVA), Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). The programme rides on the rapid expansion of the creative economy in recent years and the trend of applying arts and cultural elements in business operations in industry practices. The MScMCE programme provides an interdisciplinary platform to nurture "Art x Marketing" talented individuals who are capable of managing, operating, administering, and promoting creative initiatives, projects, and policies within a globally competitive ecology by providing the necessary expertise in business and marketing to excel in this field.

    Programme Features:
    • A unique and interdisciplinary programme to cultivate creative and cultural leaders with knowledge that can be applied in retail market, entrepreneurship, creative industries, and arts administration and management.
    • The MScMCE programme offers overseas immersion, which gives students the opportunity to join a two-week overseas field trip* during the summer term to broaden their experience and understanding of creative economies at an international level. A subsidy of HK$10,000 will be provided to every student for this field trip.
    • Students get to solve real-life problems through the Creative Service-Learning Project. A subsidy of HK$5,000 will be provided to each student to support the Creative Service-Learning Project. Presentations will be conducted via a Virtual Symposium for students to exchange ideas with academics and practitioners across the globe.

    * Travel related expenses will be incurred if an overseas field trip is scheduled. Alternatives will be provided if the field trip must be cancelled, rescheduled or downsized.
